Reporting Spam to the proper people is important.
Reporting SPAM is not only for your own benefit, but it will help others. In identifying SPAM and other garbage email it helps the internet stay clear of predators, plus it will make you feel better that you did something about it.
If you saw a car accident or a building on fire, would you think to yourself "I don't want to get involved." Or would you call Emergency Services and report it ? Likewise, if you don't report SPAM you are doing everyone on the internet a dis-service.
